Gladys was a completely unselfish woman who helped many people. Her cousin, the late LTC (Ret) William Baker, an historical figure whose research into the Brownsville Texas Incident of 1906 reversed Teddy's Roosevelt's decision to discharge without honor 167 African American soldiers falsely accused of shooting up the town of Brownsville, often spoke of her generous spirit. She will be missed. Dr Bettye F. Baker and family.
Sending sincere condolences to the family. We remember Gladys as a sweet compassionate lady who loved her family. May she rest in paradise.
Lovingly submitted,
Her aunt-Vivian (Mittie) Carr and the Carr family
