Obituary of Roberta W. Barak

Roberta W. Barak, 92, a resident of Sandhill Gardens, Punta Gorda, passed away November 11, 2011. She was born November 12, 1918, in Falls City, Nebraska, daughter of the late George and Mattie (Stalder) Wittwer. She came to this area in 1974 from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church. Roberta was a mamber of various organizations including the Telephone Pioneer of America, and Peace River Life Member Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Barak, in May 1994, and a daughter Lisa Barak. She is survived by her dear friends James and Nichola Hall. Roberta will be laid to rest next to her husband at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held on November 23, 2011, at 3:00 PM, at Sandhill Gardens Retirement Center
